I believe that my posi unit is going bad in my Trans Am. loud popping noises around corners and in the driveway it feels like the wheels are dragging the stones when im going slow... so yeah... kaboom of the posi unit methinks. Im going to drain and fill the rear today. and yes i have the posi additive from GM

If that doesn't work... im going to get a whole new rear. stupid 10 bolt DIE DIE DIE.

what other rears have u guys put in your car as a DD and love it? what ratio also, with a 6speed of course. ty

 

i got a moser 12 bolt with 3.91s in my a4. can't complain. it's a weekend driver so th ehigh rpms on the highway dont bother me. an m6 with 4.10s appears to be what everyone runs.

 

yes youre right the posi unit is out thats the same thing that was happening with my friends car! he got a 12 bolt but when that happens to me im getting 9''
