Possible Header leak?
Possible Header leak? Hey guys,
I have been trying to find a ticking noise for a while now. I've checked the valvetrain, a possible short in my plug wires and checking the flanges on the headers, and now i think I have an idea what it might be. I noticed the other day, the smell of uncatted exhaust coming through the cabin, which made me think of my headers. I have Jet Hot LTs, which just like the hookers, have a detached 1st cylinder pipe. Is it possible that that the pipe isn't pushed in all the way and exhaust is leaking from that joint? It is only coming from the driver's side and from the back of the block, so it all makes sense. If that is where its leaking whats my best bet to fix it?
