It could be the opti still, but I would bet it is a burnt plug wire from your earlier descriptions.

And don't count out a wire loose or off either the spark plug or the opti coils, I am pretty positive it is one of those two, not the opti, unless it got wet and you forgot to mention that.

would a bad 02 cause this as well? also i checked and saw no arc or water leaking.

ok well i had the codes pulled this morning and it said o2 sensor no activity bank two. it is the upstream one. i just replaced it the second time. do these symptoms sounds accurate to a bad o2 sensor?

Yeah, it could do all of this stuff you are describing because the car cannot adjust air and fuel properly

well which side is bank 2 im beginning to think that my other o2 is bad. does the o2 go to the fuse box first and then to the pcm or straight to the pcm?

The O2 sensor goes directly to the PCM and has no fuse (PCM is fused). I have 1 that is bad on my car right now too. Bank 2 is the passenger side of the engine. Replace both of the FRONT (closest to the engine) ones at the same time with ACDelco's, Delphi's, or Denso's. Our cars do not like Bosch.

could it be that i fried the pcm?? if so how would i check that? also where is the fuse for the pcm.

all plug wires are good. question thou. i think i found my problem. where the pcm is the two connectors on the shock tower. i have a burned wire. i am gonna replace it now but how do i get the wire out of the connector???
