95 TA NEED HELP quick...

Default 95 TA NEED HELP quick...

Alright. i took my heat shielding off of my 95 trans am and there is 2 pieces.. I know exactly where the big piece goes but for the life of me i cant remember how i took off the smaller piece.. Can anyone help me out on this and possibly post some kind of a pic...Call it a newbie replacing a fuel pump.. pump is in so all the hard stuff is done then i forget how i took out that little frikin piece out I got absolutely everything done except this......Any help would be extremely appreciated...

You talking about the piece that goes on the right side above the Exhaust Pipe?

yea the smaller piece that im pretty sure goes up and above the backside of the exhaust... I can take a pic if it would help show what im talkin about.

Look where the Screws go in it and line it up..that might help.

maybe i bent it too much takin it out but ive tried gettin it where i thought it went and it aint goin... here is a pic ... its the smaller piece...

Yup.. one goes under the Gas Tank, and the other on the Passenger Side.
My Car is parked outside, but it's too dark for a pic to help..

You don't need those on the car to begin with. All of them off my car are gone and in the trash can. If for some odd reason you'd really like to stick them back on there. The small piece is held in by small screws. I think there's about six of them in there. There's one that's kind of sneaky. It's right above the rear axle. I was pulling on mine and noticed it in there.

EDIT: If I can find the camera I'll go try and snap a picture real quick for you off of my 95.

Underneath my 95 V6 car looks a little different than underneath my LT1 car so they might be different. As far as I could tell they are mounted exactly the same. My neighbors walking back from the beach looked at me like I was crazy.

any pics would help but it is truly getting to the point to IF it is not going to hurt having them off the **** it..........I have no desire to replace if they dont need to be there for safety reasons.... Id appreciate the pics if someone would take the time to get em for me... I just want to be on the safe side of thing.. if i dont need em ill but the big one on and screw the small one.. Thanks......
