Roller Rockers
New valve springs(918s) drop in w/out major mods
7/16 rocker studs
1.6 rockers for 7/16 studs
hardened push rods
GM guide plates
3/8 studs flex too much at hi RPM......
If you do run the 918's, very good spring, you need to pull the heads and have the spring seats machined down .100". Also if you run "hardened" push rods, and you should with NON self alligning RR, do not use GM guide plates. Get "hardened" ones like ISKY.
Your motor is stock and the 10308 kit is plug & play, no machine work. New valve stem seals since you have tthe springs off.
Invest $15 in a Haynes service book, but a $35 spring compressor and it will take you the day to do it.
You will get a little more power from your stock cam and rev higher with the upgraded springs.
