In every test that I have made with the 561's they performed worse than the other castings. Every set of 561's that I have flowed were not as good as the earlier heads by a large margin. Maybe there are some good 561's out there. I've just never seen a set!

thats interesting. i wonder were the other thread got its info. is it possible the non 561's you tested were ported and 561's were unported?

Absolutetly not. And were not just talking about a comparison betwean a couple of heads here. I would like to see the other guys flow sheets, because I'm not seeing what they say they have seen.

(I run Stock Eliminator which requires unported heads)

well thanks for the info. i learn something new everyday here.

i hope it didn't come across as i was argueing with you i just ask questions so i could learn from you guys im only 20 so i have very limited knowledge when it comes to these cars.

I didn't take it that way at all. I had read the same thing about the 561's, fixed a set for my Stocker, and slowed it down. That is really what got me flowing the virgin castings. Maybe there are some good 561's out there. If so, I would love to hear about them.
