Quick question: Stock Damper Size?

I am at work and the car is at home so I can run out to measure. Checked the FAQ and did a quick search - didn't find the answer.

So... what is the diameter of the OEM LT1 F-body damper? I'm thinking 6.75", but not sure. I'm looking at an ATI damper that is 7.5" in diameter and wondering how far from stock size it is...

Got real busy and forgot to go back and say THANKS!

I had actually measured mine that night, and the new damper (ATI) is already here.

I had this same problem last september, I ended up getting one with a bit of underdrive.

I got PN 917268.

Bought it from a board member here.

Can't put it on yet, doing an Opti-crap rebuild as soon as the MSD cap and rotor show up.
