Default opti harness

is the plug for the opti harness the same for vented 94 and older and nonvented 95+? I think I need to replace mine and found one in the for sale section, but I need to make sure the vented and non-vented are the same. Also where it plugs into the rest of the harness is it the same for all years?

Yes, the 4-prong wiring harness is the same throughout production years. The core of the opti remained the same (the harness plugs into the core) while the cap saw changes from non-vented in 93/94 to vented in late 94-97.

Better make sure.....I think the 95-97 has a longer end going into the opti.

I believe the vented opti had a different harness than the nonvented. If you need one I have my harness from my 94.

I've run both vented and non in my 94, and the wiring harness has been the same... But, to play it safe, you could always call your parts store, and get them to compare a vented to a non, and see what they say.

I work at a parts store and we can't get the harnesses, but I may check the actual distributors tomorrow to see if the plug is any different
