Pulled a Mach 1 hard from a dig. He launched right with me (he was on Nitto DR's) and I got him by a solid 4.5-5

He was minor bolt ons. Full exhaust, cold air or K&N in the shaker hood or whatever they do, had a tune, clutch, etc.

Thats with the mods in my sig, not spraying.

Stock GT's around here barely run high 15's @ mid/low 90's mph (remember the elevation) so they usually dont give too much of a fight.

I went 13.5/101 (2.04 60', 8.82/81 1/8th mile) in a buddy's bone stock '05 GT. The gearing helps it out in the first 330 feet, but after that it felt like it kinda fell off. I was impressed though, they're not turds by any means.

I love the BS in these threads. I just sold my LT1 car listed in my sig, but my wife still has her 06 mustang. Stock for stock a LT1 does not beat these cars unless you simply out drove someone. Even with stiff *** lowering springs bigger sway bars and 275/40/ZR18 tires this car is .3 and 6mph faster than my LT1 was when it was stock.

you had a 94 the obd1 lt1 cars were slower out the factory than the obd2 lt1 cars they had a few differences like cam style and the more advanced computers; yes i most likely could of out drove several of the mustangs iv raced but iv also driven several mustangs myself and have yet to be impressed,

I did lot's of research when I first bought my car. It happened to run about what I found to be average for a stock A-4 LT1.

Your car isn't stock is it? They haven't made a LT1 in what twelve years? Not many bone stock ones left running around. It is what it is! A stock LT1 won't beat a newer mustang unless there is a much better driver in the LT1 car. I'm done with this. Have fun I'm out .

I beat an 05 GT 5 speed stock for stock with my 93. Totally handed his *** to him. needless to say he was a little disappointed with his little mustang

Hate to tell you but you beat the driver, not the car..

Stock for stock it is a drivers race with the edge to the mustang.

I will agree with this. I drove a 07 GT and the thing felt stronger than a stock LT1. Not by a lot, but enough to win all other things being equal.

Since this post has been brought back!

A friend of mine has an '06 GT A5,i do like the body style! Anyway, he has installed 3.73s,DRs,cat-back and a vortec SC and i was heavily intimidated by this. We go to the track together line up and i spun, took the win letting off at the topend slip looks like this:
DA 3000'

60'-----2.278-----------------2.25
330'----5.849-----------------5.918
1/8-----8.820-----------------8.911
mph----82.52-----------------81.32
1000'---11.377----------------11.529
ET------13.547----------------13.733
MPH-----101.10---------------102.71
Mike's fastest pass to date so far is a 13.43@104
My fastest pass is a 13.08@106

That is not the norm... That car should be much faster than that. Something is wrong in the setup. Period.

i've ridden in my dad's 94z m6 and an 06 a4 mustang. Camaro has cat and muffler and 227xxx miles never been rebuilt still going strong. and mustang has axle back and a cai. the camaro would take the stang pretty easily.. i'd say by about 100 2 lengths. btw the camaro has chrome salad shooter wheels. i know they're pretty rare i was just wondering has anyone seen these somewhere else?? these are factory made wheels not some fake knock offs

Yeah it started with a blue oval!

Its got alot to do with the DA here in Vegas..

Another 06 GT M5DRs,catback,cai and tune ran best of 13.9
'02 firehawk A4,slp pulley,cut out,DRs,ported TB,LCAs runs 13.1@105
'04 Mach1 M5,DRs,4.10s,X-pipe flows runs 13.8@104
'02 SS camaro M6,LTs,DRs,Lid,tune runs 13.3
'02 SS camaro A3,manifolds,rear turbo,6.0 zo6 cam,tune 10.0@135

It runs what it runs, bring your car out the way it is and i bet you won't see 11s

Like I said, it would run faster than that. Even in that DA..

From the times you posted it would be simple to hit 11s.. What is the DA on average?
