Bummer you had it just rebuilt BUT! Even if it did damage the piston too much, with it just being re-done I bet you could get away with 1 piston and a hone job on that cylinder and be fine and dandy. That's probably worse case I can think of. Other than MAYBE damaging the head/valves in that cyl as well.

As for being stressed, I understand, I just thought it was funny even though it makes sense since there IS fire in the cyl and they are still walls

You'll unbolt the connecting rod (2 nuts) and then pull the piston out from the top. Swap over the stuff you're keeping (rings if you do, connecting rod, pin if you want) to the new piston, get a piston installer ring (like $12 from a parts store) and then install it back in, bolt it up to torque specs and then put the motor back together. I believe that is all it takes

I'll let someone else agree, or correct me though, but I'm 90% sure that's as hard as it is.

I just got done pulling the two rear pistons out because they were pretty damaged, the force of the screw driver-bit collapsed the ring groove onto the ring and cracked it. The cylinder walls look good. I took my fingernail and felt around the wall and felt one little scratch about two-inches long but could barely feel it. Will a fine scratch like this be ok or should I have it looked at?
Thanks

You should rehone it if you don't want to take chances. You probably won't even be able to do it with the engine still in the car. Pull it and rebuild it would be your best bet.

Anyways this wasn't about the crime, this was about how to fix the damage to the engine. PERIOD. The motor was just rebuilt last year. I just want to know if a little damage to the top of one piston can be left the way it is?

That sucks *** man, I'm always super careful with bolts near the intake tract. I'm afraid of my nitrous nozzle comming apart and killing my motor.

I would assume that a electric (not battery, since the wall based seem to be a bit shorter from back to chuck) drill and a ball hone would work just fine even back there. Then again, pics of the area would give a better idea of space, but still heads + valve covers take up quite a chunk of space.

Chances are you will be fine with out honing it at all. You'd be amazed at what you can run. If you don't have the time or funds or desire to do a fuel rebuild just replace the damaged pistons and put it back together. That's what I would do.

I got me a little Benelli M1 Tactical 12ga Shotgun, Semi Auto, holds 9 rounds. It may not be a Pump, but crack off 2 or 3 rounds real quick, it will get the same results pretty much. Even doin that you still have 6 left, plenty for any engagement.

That and me preferred Ammo is 12ga Rocksalt Rounds..

Dad's is at LEAST 10yrs old and probably close to 15. I believe it might only be an 8 shell, but it's been many moons since I shot it. Just your standard shotgun though. And yes, I know what entails the Combat setup You should get the new shotgun that can fire all 8/9 rounds in like 5seconds (basically as fast as you can pull the trigger)
