Couple of Problems Well I installed a new cam 305 and my oil prssure gauge is lower than normal I noticed while in gear the oil pressure will drop and when accelerating the pressure returns to normal?????
Also my car has some lag as far as starting after the cam change. You turn the key and it pauses for a few turns a little bit then fires up any suggestions????

bigger cams will show lower oil pressure because they need higher rmp's to stay running, so a little variance in oil pressure won't hurt but a big difference, then there is something else going on.
