I have a TCI 3500 and love it. It wasn't so great until I realized you have to get your tune modified for it. Now my tranny is back to shifting hard and it runs great even for daily driving.

I like PIs Vigilante converters...The times in my sig were with the 3600...I had it restalled to 4000 and its still very streetable...I've run Vig since 1996 and never had any issues...The best advice is to call each place and pick their brains for which converter would work with your combo...Vig will tell you that generally for street/strip n/a stuff you want the converter to stall 500-900 rpm below the torque peak of the motor...The biggest mistakes made around here are not matching the cam, converter and rear gear...

I have a PTC 3600 and I like it so far, I sure there are good and bad to all the different one's out there. No name calling here.

just an FYI i got a 383 in the works with a mild cam and 3.91 gears. I got a vig 3200 upon PIs recommendation since i'll be running a healthy dose of nitrous.

also just so you know Vigs stall higher than rated.i haven't got the new motor in to see how much higher it is on my combo but some say a vig 3200 is like a yank 3600.

well if your interested I have a B&M 2800 stall i used for like 3 months in my lt1 I liked it cause it was real streetable. I dunno if your looking for something bigger or not but im looking to sell it fast and cheap.

i got mine directly from Precision Industries. Including shipping it was like 765. previously i went el cheapo and had my stock converter restalled to 3000 so I can't wait to see the difference. the stock restall didn't hit the tires hard enough. if your looking for a good converter on a budget you may want to ask around about edge converters.

Anymore, Vig, Yank, or Edge is what I usually recommend . I can't recall if ATI makes a lockup verter in smaller diameter for the 4l60e, but they make damn good converters too (8" for the all out race guys).

Stuff I recommend to say away from, B&M, TCI, LEVEL10, etc.
