P0420, P0441, P0420 My car is running great, but the SES came on and I got back the following codes:
P0420
P0441
P0420
After going to shoebox's site, I know generally what the codes stand for:
P0420 - Something wrong with either the cat or 02
P0441 - Something wrong with the EGR
Does anyone think the two are related, especially since they are emissions related parts? Like I said, the car is running perfect. The one thing I don't want to do is start yanking off parts that aren't bad or possibly covered by warranty, like the cat, since my car has less than 67k miles on it.
Suggestions?
(oh yeah, would a rear intake oil leak cause the EGR to go bad? I haven't checked yet, but I either have a small leak at the intake or the main seal - I guess.)
