Bad Blow By
I just had my engine repaired, two new rear pistons and rings were replaced.
I've been driving the car for about a week now and it runs fine, doesn't smoke, but is blowing alot of oil out of the oil filler hole and valve cover filter. You can put your hand over the hole where the oil goes in and feel it build pressure. Anyone know what this could be?
Thanks

I don't know if that would be considered blow by or not. Very well could be though.
Anyways, the reason behind having a PCV is to relieve the pressure that builds up just from the motor running and the pistons moving up and down. So that very well could be the issue.
I'll let a more informed person answer though.

depedns on what the ring pack was set up for. did you have it built for na or nitrous ect...? if it just started this issue with the ring replacement, then it tends to tell me the rings are not sealing.
