Default Fan questions.

Useing the Tuner software I'm trying to lower the temperature the fans come on at. The only option I see in the ECM Constant table is Fan 1/2 low/High at oil temperature 164*c. This is the only option that makes any sense, but 164*c? That's like 327*f.

So I'm kinda stumped as to what to edit.

Though in the most recent version of Tuner/definition file there isn't a Fan 1 On Threshold (Low MPH)/High MPH. That I can find.

According to the TunerCAT people the fan threshold optio is changed to the "Fan Enable Coolant Temp Vs. Speed" table. This table is listed fan # by MPH for some reason and not *c. kinda dumb.

I wasn't able to find any of this info other than basic tuning for the lt1 on this site. It doesn't help that the Help file for the Tuner software is out of date. Just throwing this up here in case any one else wants to mess with some of the simpler options for the Tuner software.
