Help??
1) on the passenger side frame rail up front below the coolant over flow tank there is a little black tube shaped box thats mounted to the frame rail with what looks like a vac line running to it.
Question : can i move this box from where its located along the frame rail to the side of the frame rail so its on its side? what exactly is this box?
2) with a vented opti is it safe to let it see boost or is it vac only like the PVC system?

2) Good question heh I'm 90% sure you'd be just fine since lots run boost with newer/venter LTs. It's such a small line anyways.
Seeing as I've been up for.... too long (10:30 am yesterday), I'm only firing on about 3 cylinders (out of 8). If you plan to run boost, you could get a mini vacuum line check valve. Much like how the PCV works (as you already mentioned). I don't know how the vented opti's work, but I thought it was just a straight vacuum line up to the elbow.
