what do u think? I just recently installed OTVC and now I have a small oil leak.I think I might have overtightened the valve cover bolts(i left them too loose and they leaked from the hole
) or I didnt get the dipstick tube back in all the way?thanks

Well I tightened mine down basically till they stopped and haven't had a leak. I also re-used the old gasket as well.
I agree with Spiers. It's easy, clean everything up let the motor run for a few and keep watching it. If nothing, take it around the block and check again. If you REALLY want to find out, get a UV light and some dye (for oil heh) and stick it in there.

I checked it out and oil was everywhere so I cleaned it but I wont drive it again for a few days so I was j/w in the meantime TECH Senior Member

I believe the shafts that the cover bolts go through prevent from over-over tightening. I'm sure where I have it is over-tight, but meh.
Also, I'm not 100% on this but, I think it isn't possible to over-tighten them since they sit in a fairly deep groove, and also the fact of being rubber.
