Tahnks for the pics man, and I understand you on the poor thing LOL I have so much wrapped up in my car and I'm still working out little bugs here and there, this weekend I get to drop about another $150 in her and mabye it will be done until next weekend haha Then I have some paint plans by the end of july, I'll never get done with this damn car.

What headers do you have for the car? When I had to pull my heads off to change the gaskets my hookers were a royal pain in the ***, especially on the passengers side. I was actually going to pull my motor again rather than fight my header. Torqueing the head bolts was a real bitch, especially having to do them 3 times increasing torque everytime. Good luck though man, I'm really looking foward to how these things perform

Thanks man.. I have the hookers too! My god was it a bitch to remove the heads with those headers dangling lol. Im going to remove the headers from the bay (headers were cut at the collectors because they are welded, not clamped) and hopefully by removing that that will allow me to install the new heads with ease, and will make it easier to dremel the hell out of the headers (even though it's not necessary), but I want the header port larger than the head exhaust port so theres definately no restrictions. I'll let you guys know how it all turns out in a few days to a week.

Yeah my hookers are cut too. But I welded on ball connectors like whats on the mustangs. I couldn't get the header out of my car until I had the head off, and I didn't feel like messing with the motor mount bolts and the stock K member so I just fought it. If there is ever a next time I'm just yanking my motor, pulling the heads, putting it back together, and then put the motor back in the car. Doing it like that will be about 200X easier IMO. But this winter I'm going to put in a UMI k member and mabye some stainless headers from the guy on here if everything works out good for the guys buying them.

Let us know how the thing goes. When do you have plans for a dyno? I'm also looking foward to some #s

Dyno should be coming soon.. just want to get the car running first (this is my daily.. heh ) But I will get her on the dyno as soon as possible. Not really looking for any numbers at the moment - waiting for my 383 turbo build but im sure these heads will give it a nice increase.

Scotchbrite pad on a die grinder. Thats what I used. You can get a kit at home depot for about $5 and go to harbor freight if you don't have a die grinder and pick one up for about $10

Motor looks pretty clean, you should have seen mine after I blew it up it was just discusting.

I'm assuming that you ran the hotcam with the stock heads already. Perhaps that was mentioned and I missed it. If so it will be interesting to see what the turn out is comparing the Darts with stockers. I'm sure the Darts will do nicely but they only really "shine" after custom port work.

The great thing is that you have a great casting to start with now!

Looks good! Should be a real fun car with those heads and the hotcam! Car looks great with that hood too.

Any grudge races with anyone from school coming up? That was always my favorite part of college...scoping out the parking lot for future races, lol.

Unfortunately not done yet. Ran into SO many little things. For one, lets say my harness if FRIED thanks to the headers (knock sensor/ro2 sensor/starter wire, block ground/oil pressure sensor, etc).. I don't feel like repairing it so I'm now looking for an intact harness. I'm taking this time though to do things right. I am coating the headers in this high temp silicone stuff, wrapping them, and coating them again. Also, i had both heads on, but the LAST bolt on the passenger side wouldnt torque down. Just kept spinning. You guessed it, I stripped an iron block LOL.. So I had to drill the hole, tap it, and helicoil it. Now it's good to go. I may be done putting things back together today and tomorrow but i cant get it started till after this wiring nightmare is over )=
