you missed the point!
1.no traction w/2.5 60'
2.the mph at the end was showing the HP was still there!
even though i blew the tires away off the line..but thanks for the input.

i honestly can't talk man (wasn't trying to bash you, just thought an early morning laugh would help a few other peps cause i know im tired as hell) i havent run my car at the track ever and i know alot of first timers and inexperienced people blow the tires off hardcore, but my buddy with a cobalt SS ran a 14.00 at just over a hundred i think (correct me if that sounds wrong) and i put about half a car on him from 0-65 or so and i had a passenger and this was with just a CAI and an UD pullies in a A4 3.23 car.

its LS1 Tech Stock now so hopefully it should run a tad quicker.

for sure i would love for some of these people to run at hi and dry altitudes then add the DA to it.
in-fact i wish people would add there track location and or the DA at the time of their runs...Vegas is generally 3-4tenths slower than a sea level track but we have seen it as high as 7tenths......

favorite excuses for a crappy ET
1.my opti
2.bad injector(s)
3.bad gas
4.my reaction time was bad(LOL)

haha yea hopefully i dont have to use any of those excuses (since i have a new opti, my injectors looked fine when i had my car apart, and i always run shell 91) when i finally do hit the track. i'm thinking about going maybe tomorrow night after school but usually when i get out of class im just too damn lazy/tired to go.
saturday class from 2pm-7pm FTL!

and i know all about the dry heat, phoenix, AZ FTL

At least we don't have the altitude issue. and seeing as Elite ran a 14.2 with his bone stock 2.73 car i think i should be able to hit a mid 13 considering i have better gearing and a few bolt on's and cam and tune( HOPEFULLY HAHA!)

but who knows? gotta see.

according to google when i looked it up our altitude is 1,086 FT above sea level. im not an expert at this by any means but is that bad or going to affect me greatly? that doesnt seem too far above sea level but then again i have no real solid knowledge that i can base that on, besides that denver is 5,280ft above sea level? haha

Not too bad,i have met a few guys from PHX and to see their reaction when they make a pass here is priceless! I am still spoiled myself i started racing in 1986 in Houston, old eastex in porter tx,then they built HRP spoiled by sea level racing!

nah im probably not goin to the meet saturday night, **** fell through on the loan for that ss so im stuck with the z now. Its cool though i got some pretty good plans for it in the next few months as long as the bank will give me the cash. On my 14.2 run i also had a shitty 2.2 reaction time and my rear bearings in the rear end were going bad. I think i might be able to pull off a 14.1 or 14.0 possibly but who knows.
