Hoping to get a loan soon
I'm just saying it's high risk. You could end up wrecking or losing the car somehow and still have to pay out the loan. You would be much better off saving up for your mods or selling the car for something faster.

well i appreciate the honest talk but lets just say i dont wreck and there are no worries about the debt or anything. Im not looking for a race car but I am looking to put together a reliable mid 12 second street car. What are the best parts to buy for this goal? Im also looking into a good shock and spring set up i have been looking at strano springs and i dunno about shocks yet. What exhaust system has shown the best hp gains. Any info like that would be great thanks guys.

Ok well here is my plan just from what i have read on the forums.
1. have the motor checked for any problems (possibly do a re build)
2. Do the six speed swap because thats what i want
3. Get the car re painted red or black still haven't decided
4. Full exhaust ( either qtp headers or pacesetter long tubes with a catted y pipe and then an slp loudmouth cat back, I like the sound of the loudmouth)
5. Get a CAI
6. probably 3.73 or 4.11 gears with the six speed.
7. C6 Z06 wheels or chrome TTll's and some new rubber
8. ss spoiler and maybe ss hood
9. possibly some cam work maybe a small cam to keep it streetable.
How does that list sound so far? I dont know basically anything about cams so ill have to get more info on that.
