cc503 or Ai grind?
Going any larger would usually require more expensive springs, pushrods, gear, stall, non emissions set up, to work well. Some can use a larger cam but the Cc 503 is not gonna hinder the average stock bottom end set up shifting at 6200-6300 RPM.
Once a guy has 58 MM TB, 1 3/4 LT headers, 3" true duals, 3.73 gears, 3200-3600 stall, etc and is willing to shift past 6200 RPM, a larger cam would be agood choice.
There can always be improvements made (even if using a cam with the saem RPM range) by talking to someone that designs cams (like Bret or the AI guys) and tell them your goals and entire set up and see what they say.
