What header gaskets do you guys reccomend for Hooker LT headers?

IMO more important than the gasket is the understanding that most gaskets compress for the first week or two of use, so retighten frequently during that time.

I have always had great luck with the Mr.G Ultraseal.

I have always ran Fel-Pro 1406's with great luck on all my cars.

I have heard good things about 1406's and ultraseals so i guess it may be a toss-up.

I don't like the copper gaskets. I never had any luck stopping leaks if I reused them. I buy the Jegs part number 720-5965.

i have the same headers and has leaks with every gasket i tried except for fel-pro and a set of arp header bolts.

FEL-Pro are good gaskets, also Percy's dead soft are good.

Go to Auto Zone and get the percys reusable header gaskets.
I've had them two years and had them off three times and never had to retighten or any leaks.

im gonna replace my oem replacements with percy's carbon fiber gaskets. ******* ticking is driving me crazy on idle when hot.

Id go for copper. On my exhaust flange gasket (the one at the bottom of the header) I put in the black mr gasket "paper" one and it blew out within 6 hours. After that i put in a jegs copper one and its been perfect ever since.
