Default Eh.. bent/roughed up the headgasket..

I was in the process of putting the first head on, and i was having trouble finding the hole ().. the dowel pins in the block would not really fit in the heads so with all the taking out and putting back in of the head, and resting on the gasket, it's bent up on the edges and stuff.. i ended up just using the other headgasket but now im one short and cant finish my heads swap )= My question is, would it still be safe to use the head gasket? It's not torn anywhere, but like i said on the edges it's best and theres bends and scrapes everywhere on it.. 0_o

I wouldn't chance it, spend the $$ & get a new one, just look at it this way, if you "question it", "replace it", when in doubt, get another one, especially when it comes to head gaskets, because if you have ANY issues with it, you'll be kicking yourself bigtime.
