Default Engine Balancing

How much does a good engine balancing usually run for an LT1? Is it really worth the time and money? By the way I know little about this... so dont be quick to shoot me down

are you talking about fully balanceing and blueprinting a new block and crank, or just your stock components?

balancing the rotating assembly varies on price,i have paid as little as 150.00 on up to 180.00....it does get higher for custom stuff like adding mallory metal to the crank but that would not apply for a stock style set up.....

Around $200 for rotating assembly these days.
Balancing will allow you to get a bit more power and also enhance the life expectancy of an engine. For me its money well spent.
