96 LT1 timing cover?
Hello Guys,
Well using my infinite wisdom. I decided to cover the water pump hole in my timing cover with a freeze plug instead of trying to get it welded shut.
I ended up cracking the cover and now I need a new one.
According to my local dealership they are discontinued. AutoZone,Advance,Orielly, bumper to bumper, Napa all say they cannot get one.
Is my only resource for a 96-97 Opti cover used or to get mine fixed?
Any help would be appreciated.
I plan on just leaving the water pump shaft in there now I already put the new timing chain and gears on
