Default ran into a problem

Did a search and came up with an idea, but figured id ask to be safe. Friend of mine got a 94 z28 totally stock m6. has 89,000 miles on it. Start it up runs fine, but when you give it gas it will not go over 2,500 rpm no matter what you do. and once its at operating temperature it doesnt seem to want to come off idle. fuel pressure is good and doesnt bleed off. plugs and wires are fine. getting good spark from the coil but spark at the plugs seems week. it acts like its starved for fuel but as I stated earlier the fuel pressure is fine and the injectores are firing, *pulld the rail to check that just to be sure* Im thinking maybe the opti but I figured id get other opinions. maybe i overlookd something. thanks for the help!

I would test the opti and the coil:
