Knocking noise NEED HELP!!!!!!!! Have this bad knocking noise on the passenger side just took off the vavle cover checked the rods and rockers rods were str8 but the rocker were real lose would that be my problem to where the car lose power and shuts off?
very possible, i think. looseness or tightness in the valve train can cause some weird problems. i think u might be looking at some lifter problems tho. reset valve lash on all the valves and drive it for a while. if they come loose again i think thats lifters. not completely sure. maybe someone more knowledgeable will chime in
