code p1371 opti help ok so heres the deal i did my lt1 swap in to a 1990 rs convertible i am using all the wiring front to back in the car i have grounded all grounds inculding the one by the starter welll heres the deal at first the injector were pulsing and then fadeing out after 30 seconds and it had spark but now it is dead no spark no injector pulses when i plug my snap on scanner in to it it is giving me the 1371 code i switched the ic mod and coil from what i have read it is opti failer when i removed the engine from the car it ran but it was storied under a shead covered up it did fire up a couple of times but died quickey the what doyou guys think thanks

DTC 1371 is a problem with the Low-resolution pulse than is generated in the Opti. The Opti also generates a High-Resolution pulse and both pulses are sent to the PCM.
The problem could either be the Opti, or the wiring harness between the Opti and PCM. Here is the wiring diagram for the 95-97s. The optical module (within the Opti) can fail, or maybe there is debris (crap) on the Opti shutter/strobe wheel.
