Default Added LT4 Knock Module = Knock Count Increased

Well I scanned with my car with datamaster a few months ago and thought my knock counts were a little high, would go up to 10* of spark retard if you matted it to WOT and my knock counts would get up to about 17000 or so after 15-25 min of spirited driving. So I purchased the LT4 KM hoping to eliminate the chances this was false knock. Well......I installed and scanned it again tonight and well, not so good.

My spark retard still goes up to 10-11* but now my knock counts cycle past 60000 and reset then keep cycling. Its like the LT4 Knock module amplified my knock issues 10 fold.

Should I be worried that my knock counts are going this high? Is there a chance I got a bad KM? What other factors would you guys like to see before making input? The car dyno'd at 251whp and 308wtq with nothing but a magnaflow catback which I am told is an average number, but I see stock cars making 260-270.

I keep hearing about people getting lt4 knock modules after heads/cam or just headers because it was recommended but ending up putting the stock one back in, because they had too many problems with the lt4.

i put a lt4 km in my car and it didn't help at all. after modifying my burst knock tables it went away. i didn't desensitize the sensor i just messed around with the burst knock tables and got rid of it. took me a few years to get rid of it LOL.
