just put AI heads and cam on that rig, a d1sc, a rear mount turbo, 150 shot and a tornado, but leave the street tires on because im sure your friends can't drive those cars so it will only be highway racing. you may as well do it up big the first time so they dont come back with something else, or even better, the cobra boy pullies his rig up to 550 rwhp and then it lasts for about 10,000 miles and the motor blows up. <--ive seen that happen a few times with these rich kids.
I have seen a few cobra's with ported blower's and upgraded pullies with all boltons make low 500's and they ran like 7.50s to 7.70s in the 1/8! They are heavy cars and with just 400hp I don't think it would take much to beat it! I mean these cars come stock with high 300s at the wheels so it dosn't have much done to it
