Fill me in on booster pumps
Fill me in on booster pumps I'm running a 30# injector and I know i need to go bigger. I'm setting up my nitrous and want to run a 42# and something similar to the old Trex pump. Should I upgrade my in tank pump or atleast replace the 15 yr old pump before/while i do this?
IF this isn't a good idea is there an option that will easily let me run an A1000 instead?
On my mustang I did the Cartek stock pump replacement siphon tube that ran down to the A1000 then to the motor but it was carbed so I'm lost on exactly what I need.
I want to run at least a 200 shot.

From what I have read on here, not too many people recommend an external pump unless you have a sumped fuel tank. If the intank pump is stock, yes go ahead and replace it no matter which way you go. I did dual intank pumps for my nitrous set-up. I put the second pump on a switch so I can turn it on for nitrous only. Here is the link to what I did. Dual intank pumps
