Default Nitrous Questions
Whats a good kit? What all do I need to buy? What can I safely run on a stock LT1 motor with intake and full exhaust? Oh and what could cause a miss around 5k and why would it miss in every gear except 1st?

Yea thats what I was thinking. I was going to hold off on getting it tuned until I get the nitrous kit.

Forgot to mention I need a kit that can be taken off in about 6 months and put in a 07 Mustang GT without to much of a hassle.

Get the car miss squared away 1st., make sure you have good fuel pressure/good tune before adding any nitrous, you'll need a window switch also, Nitro Dave has a base line kit for around 360.00, should work fine on both cars.

correct....if you are wanting a kit to use an multiple vehicles you will want a single nozzle system.

High RPM misses on a near stock vehicle like what you're sounding like you're describing could be platinum plugs.... if you're running platinum plugs get rid of em.... No splitfires, v power and stuff like that... Run some TR6's or TR5's and you'll be golden...

but like others said, watch fuel pressure, find a way to pull timing out, DO NOT run hypertech power programmers and leave the timing alone as those things advance timing and you will hurt the motor...

Dave's makes a good kit, nitrous outlet as well... I had good luck with the TNT plate system.....

150 shot chopped off 1.3 seconds and added 14 mph.....
