question regarding egr/air delete

question regarding egr/air delete both things are almost out of the engine bay. Im gonna be keeping the factory manifols for a while. what should I use to cover the holes from the pipes that I took off?
I know about the 2 metal plates that I have to use behind the intake but I can't figure out where the heck the egr solenoid is?
it is the one over the right valve cover or behind the intake and if is not the first one what is the use for that anyway

EGR solenoid should be on the driver's side of the block. Trace the line where the EGR valve came off the back and it should be the plastic thing with an electrical connector on it. It's a bit hard to see with all the rest of the wiring in there, but it's there.
as far as the A.I.R. fittings on the manifolds, go to a hardware store or somewhere that sells air line fittings and find a NPT plug to plug them off with...I wan't to say it's a 1/2" plug that you will need.maybe a 3/4"...I forgot
