Carbed LT1?

Carbed LT1? has anyone here done it? Can you do it? I',m thinking about doing it, My goal with the car is just a track car, and I know carbs more than I do FI and the car has alot of problems with its wiring. Sorry to sound like a super noob
Yes many have done it, its totally possible. In fact some prefer it. Your going to need a new manifold for a carb, along with alot more (someone else will have to go into detail, never carbed an LT1....I would personally just stay with FI).

Well I have one in the car that needs rebuilt and an extra block laying around, I was going to go Forged 383 stroker with like a 750 or so carb. That way when i gut the car i can do away with all the wires as well, to save even more weight, You only need a few wires to run a carbed engine but I was wonder what to do with tranny I wouldn't be able to stay with the 4l60E though would I?
