alot of people run that set from tsp on here. the "best" ones are always custom built though.

edit: you could build that setup right there for probably half the cost.

summit universal x-pipe kit
(2) dynomax bullet mufflers.

thats all it is.

Yeah, look around for some sound clips and have a set welded up for you. The best set of true duals have the muffler that YOU like best. I personally like the sound of the bullets though, TSP made a good choice using those.

What makes you say that? You could build one cheaper than TSP will sell you one for...

depending on how much welding has to be done may be more of a PITA

True, your going to have to take it somewhere to be welded rather than it bolting right in. If you like the sound of the bullets and just want to keep it simple, then TSPs dual system is very quality. I think someone else already said alot of people here run it, just ask around and see what they think of it.

(I have heard it in person, and it sounds GREAT. Not my car though.)

I would push you torwards putting your own setup togeather, but thats only to save you some money. If you want the "bolts right up" factor then get the TSP setup. Just make sure you hear EVERYTHING before you make your decision, I like the bullets but there are some GREAT mufflers out there to choose from. Sweet Thunder mufflers also sound great, seems they are pretty popular too. You shouldent have any problems finding clips of ALL the systems you could choose from.

I spent about $280 for the above parts and about $120 at a muffler shop ($400 total) having a pew pieces bent and welded but it sound AWESOME and cost less than a good cat back and ORY while making a lot more power.

I just wanted to point out that TSP's TD's are for LS1's not LT1's. The collectors on the LS1 headers are not facing the same direction and angle as they do on LT1's so it wouldn't bolt up and would need modifications done to fit.

+1 on custom setup. My duals ran me 250 in labor but ive got awesome ground clearance, but no crossover pipe.

I have heard the Borla XR-1s sound AWSOME, and yes they do fit as far as I know.

(They are another popular choice, check around I am sure you can find pics/sound clips).
