AFR rev kit?
AFR rev kit? My 396 is making some noise up top (not RPM, I mean physically the top of the motor). I had the Rev Kit in my previous 385 and while it made a little noise, I don't remember it being this damn noisy. I listened carefully to my valve train, putting my ear next to the valve covers and even removed my breather and put my ear right over the hole. Just the normal "sewing machine" sound there. It really seems that the damn rev kit is causing the noise because as I move my ear over the intake the noise is louder.
Anyone else experienced a lot of noise with an AFR Rev Kit? It's so bad I'm thinking about ditching it.

Dave, not what I wanted to hear, but thanks for the input. I may still pull the kit off and run the motor without it. However, before I do that I'll continue to listen and see if I can get a better handle on it.
