i have a problem on hand. i have a brand new ac delco opti in box and a msd opti given to me from a guy who took it off his car and put his stock one back on and sold the car. sould i sell the msd and just run the ac delco one with a msd cap or should i just run the msd and sell the new acdelco.

My vote is for the stock GM opti, and if you need a new cap and rotor get the MSD.

Whats mods? If your car is not stock stick with the MSD (full unit)...... If its stock or close to it (and you intend on keeping it that way, and not revving higher) then theres no better opti than the AC Delco.

I've always had great luck with the stock GM ones. I'd sell the MSD to pocket some $$ and run the ACDelco.

Hahaha, I like the MSD alot but your right Stealth. This would be a good oppertunity to pocket the extra $200.00.

Although that extra $200 is well spent on the MSD, as they will rebuild it for like $100 if you break it (or something you do breaks it) and free if its something they did wrong (manufacture/shipping). I dont mind paying a little extra for treatment like that
