I think you would like the chambered exhaust if your looking for something loud but nice, its one of my favorites. I do like bullets though too

I'm looking for the same actually. I really hate to give up my hooker catback, but
the new setup really should have duals. Finding good flow without being obnoxiously loud can be tough.

You might have better luck over in the exhaust section though.
I bet there are dozens of posts like this one.

I really love the hooker catback, its at the top of my list of favorites (catbacks that is). You really cant beat duals for sound/flow/performance, but that hooker catback flows real damn well, and keeps its manners even with an LTs and ORY setup.

I think its between that and duals for the Firehawk (like I had on the T/A) this winter, but we will see.

I like flowmaster 1 chambers. They have a good tone down low but scream at wide open throttle. I had moroso spiral flows before and they reminded me of an old pulpwood truck going down the road. I also like the borla xr1s though, thats what i may put on my new camaro im picking up tomorrow.

hell yeah, that's what I'm doing. I haven't really considered anything other than powersticks. I just love the sound. I hope I love in as much in person, as I've never come across it in person, just on the internet.

Although, I may be going under the axle. The look doesn't bother me, and when symmetrical, they look sick. If my cash permits, I'll definitely go over though.

Please post up a video clip of the setup.

I've got Pacesetter LT's, 2.5" x-pipe, Fowmaster knock-off single chambers ($60 shipped for both off ebay), then under the axle. Sounds amazing. I wouldn't have it any other way.

I'll say this...dumped the car was aggressive as hell but was just too loud inside the cabin for me to be dd'ing it...so I went out the back and now I can actually speak inside the car but I've stood behind it when it's been rev'd and my ears will ring for an hour. Definitely one of my favorite exhausts sounds I've heard but I'm partial since it's mine...y pipe setups just don't do it for me in the sound dept. no video clips though since i'm at college and don't have a video camera.

Im gonna do 2.5" x-pipe with no mufflers dumped at the axle. I had it on my old T/A(sig) but I just got another LT1 with 3" h-pipe and 4" bullets. Sounds way too loud and it seems like too much exhaust for a 355ci.

flowmaster one chambers provide a little "gassier" sound, which I like on mustangs, but not on fbodies.

i have bullets on my x pipe, and i thought they were gonna be louder than ****. but when I turned it on I was pleasantly surprised when they weren't very loud at all. Nice and deep, it's a bit louder at higher RPMS, but that's to be expected of any exhaust setup. overall, i'm very satisfied. lots of people tell me I have an awesome sounding LT1... lots of them around here have loudmouths and they tell me they sound like trash compared to mine. So I'd definitely go with bullets for ground clearance and sound. My x-pipe is 2.5" as well, so that might make the sound a little quieter as well.
