Is there any difference between a 94 and 95 4l60e transmission? i was told that the 95 has as lockup converter and the 94 doesnt but i dont know.. Anyone have any idea??/????

 

They both have a lockup converter. There is a difference in the valve body, but the rest of the trans is the same. I believe there is a different solenoid for controlling the locking of the converter. I ran a '94 trans in a '95 car before. I had to disable one TCC code in the tune and everything worked perfectly.

Swap the valve bodies.

 

I believe the Case is different as well.. I have a friend that runs a Tranny Shop, and he was telling me all about it one day when I was taking out my LT1 stuff for my LS swap.
