Most people dont want to take their car to an exhaust shop and have it put on, they want to just throw in a catback all put togeather already.
Yes they are basically the same mufflers, you just have to either weld yourself or have someone weld them up for you. The GMMG is all ready to go, theres the difference.

Thing with sweet thunders and power stick muffler is you either have to have a catback that you can install a single in/single out muffler, or have the shop make you a muffler eliminator, otherwise you'll end up with single exit exhaust. Either way, much cheaper than the GMMG system.

o damn he does. but in responce to marc3.4, why not just get two sweet thunder 18" muffs then have the shop make a exact replica of the gmmg system with those mufflers? how much u think that extra piping would cost? like this vvvvv

that's what I wanted to do before^^^^ an exact replica.
It'd be pretty expensive, so I scratched that. Instead, I'm going w/ TD's and powersticks.
I also thought of doing my exhaust setup like the camaro posted on the link, but found out it'd be pretty hard to go td's and over the axle on each side. ''
So, I'm going to just go under the axle.

some local exhaust guy said " $600 something. "
I wanted SS and mandrel bends. MIG welded because he didn't have a TIG welder.
so the price wasn't set in stone, and was probably gonna be more, who knows.
I said the hell with that and y-pipes. If found a killer deal on pacesetter headers and x-pipe, so I just decide to go TDs and better sound.
