Default LT1 won't start

I just bought a Volvo 240 that has a LT1 and a T56 in it. The car has been a project for quite some time and I'm not sure the last time the engine was run. The original owner had it running at one point but it was wired a little rough and sold it to another guy. He then tore out all the wiring and planned on redoing everything, but never did and thats when I bought it.

I've got it temperaraly wired just to get the engine running and I can get it to crank and it will start but only run a few seconds and die. It seems to be flooding. I've checked fuel pressure and it's alright and I had the injectors cleaned and inspected and they are fine.

Anybody have any ideas of what I should look for next?

Here are some pictures of the car:

Throttle position sensor?
I'll check that next.

I also found this section of the '93 Service Manual:
http://www.hotrodlane.cc/newhtml/93wontstart.html

It seems like describes my problem pretty well, but when I get to the end it says "refer to facing page", Does anyone have a '93 Service Manual that could tell me what the facing page says?
