Got my first LT1
i haven't pulled a head, to see if they were polished, just told that he had them done with the rebuild..
he had broke a header bolt in at #8 so went ahead and pulled the heads to get them rebuilt, and got them polished while they were out

hmm...polished heads...did he say if he did anything else to it while he had them out>? Just wondering..nto trying to burst your bubble but alot of folks will say those things to sell the car..either way though its a heck of a platform to buidl off of
yea he said when he pulled them off he had them rebuilt.. and they guy said he would charge him 100 extra if he wanted them polished.. so he went ahead and did that..
Congrats! There is nothing beats the sound of a good LT1. I love mine. Well, if you are JUST NOW getting an LT1, that would put you on schedule to get a LS1 in about 2015, and the 5th gen in 2022. Not a bad time line...
