Mine are not chrome, they look painted but are an old set. They might do something different now. They are starting to look beat and are coming off for some LPP LTs or Pacesetters this winter with the LE2 heads...

I personally like the Jet Hot "Sterling". Jet Hot will also re-coat one time, within 2 years, for FREE. All you do is pay shipping.

I have FLP's, Pacesetters, and Jet Hots between all the cars. All are coated and I would never consider NOT installing coated headers unless, *maybe* a pair as sexy as the LPP's or possibly Kooks stainless. However, the thermal benefits of coating outway the appearance aspect IMHO.
