Exclamation little brother has a problem

my brother went and bought a 94 trans am stock for 3000k. it has a pretty bad oil leak or leaks where are the most common areas to check for oil leaks? I truthfully can't figure out where they're coming from.I was told to clean the engine and drive slowly to see if when the car has a load on the motor if we could spot the leak, but it didn't work.I was also told to look for a clean spot where the oil mightbe leaking from? hopefully we won't get hit that hard by hurricane ike. so I can try to fix it soon.

Back of the intake - Feel the back of the intake with your hand, get way in there. If its wet to the touch, thats your leak.

Front cover - Would be all over the place, oil pan included. Should be easy to spot it dripping off the front of the engine.

Those are the "more common", check those and post back.

If its not, rear main seal or oil pan itself could be next...

Spray down all the oily spots with brake clean (back of the intake excluded since that'd be the only spot it's leaking from if it's oily) and then drive around for a good hour. That should show some signs of oil weeping and let you know more precisely where it's leaking.

Back of the intake is because of the stupid EGR, in case you're wondering. Hot EGR warps the aluminum a little bit.

Make sure when you put the new ones in that it doesn't fall out when you install the Valve Covers. They tend to do that if you aren't gentle when putting on the Valve Cover. Once it's set on the Head then bolt it on.
