Buy it as long as its as nice as it looks in the pics. Some people might think I got ripped but I paid 11,000 for my car. 96 Formula Ws6 M6 hardtop with cloth int. 27,000 miles.
So Im thinking 5800 is a good deal.

Depends on when you bought it. Any time in the last 6 years, I'd say you paid way too much. I'd say 6 years ago, $9K for it.

I bought the car just over 2 months ago. Its like a brand new car. Doctor bought it new as a weekend car only, kept it in a heated garage and finally traded it for a new Vette. Car probally never hit 100mph b4 i got it, and won best is stock class at a recent car show I took it to.

The dealer had all the stats on the car. In 96 there was only 524 Formula Ws6s 104 of those were red and when you add in M6, hardtop and cloth those numbers drop a ton. 96s also got the better 1Le springs, Very rare, very clean, low mile car.
Blue book says 8,500-9,000 but doesnt take into account the other factors and the fact the firebird is not available anymore and this is the rarest and one of the most desirable Birds for that year . They knew what they had and it was the exact car i wanted/looking for, well that or a 97. To tell the truth I would have paid more to get this exact car.
From what Ive seen clean low mileage F-bodys are worth a ton, and going up.

maybe you did pay too much, maybe you didnt. but you'll probably never find one like that ever again. so its worth it. its hard to find nice ones with decent low miles on them

Thats why you should ****** up this one if you like it. Dont know why but Ive had LT1 and LS1s and liked my lt1 better so thats what I was looking for. This is my 4th Firebird. Had a 96,97,00 and back to a 96 again.

I would buy it, i bought mine 2 years ago its black with the red interior like that one has and i get alot of compliments on it. Mine was a 94 with 69,000 miles, auto and hard top and i picked it up for 5500 so id say that one is a fair price

That sucks man, we are in the middle of the remnants of Hanna or whatever it is.... Still some pretty crappy stuff.

Never know what those things will do.

Looks like a good deal if it is as clean as it looks. I bought mine a bit more than two years ago for 5600 with 106,000 miles on it. Bone stock from a old guy who got a corvette.
