You mentioned you had a custom cam in your car, whats the specs on the cam?? Considering you have a .525 lift spring (probably LT4 springs) could be a valvetrain issue??

We did hook up a fuel pressure guage for one run and it went from 44psi to about 63ish and held steady.
I'm going to do some researchfor new computers, a local guy has an old fast system off his lt1 he has no use for.
Formula350, i'll have to check out your thread.
I have never really thought of it but since valve springs were mentioned, my heads were bought from Scoggin Dickey and they are just stage 2 cnc ported lt4's so they very well could be stock lt4 springs?
My cam is 216/222 .560 114lsa. Speed Inc built my long block and spec'd out my cam.
I have made other dyno pulls on lower boost and the graph never did anything abnormal like this?

What makes you think its a fuel problem? Did the afr go lean when that problem happened? From you dyno graph the afr didn't jump or anything weird. Im putting another vote in for valve springs it looks like valve float.

Good point, I kind of over looked the AFR since I was in a hurry to leave and get up here to the shop. On that note, what about the other side of things: Spark? Do you have anything aftermarket, or how old are your ignition parts (opti, coil, ICM)?

If he can get the GEN III PCM running on his like the guys in the thread I posted, he should be MORE then set!

That isn't the air fuel at the bottom, its speed. The tuner had the dyno wideband plugged into his stuff so it isn't on the readout. He said the pull is still pretty far on the fat side until it feaks out and goes really rich then spikes lean after that. How far I don't know.
As for my ignition the opti probably has less than 10,000 miles and the wires and coil have a little more. The ICM has never been replaced to my knowledge. Spark plugs are brand new tr6's gapped @ .032

What brand Opti? Delco new/remy, ebay "Delco Remy" or MSD, Accell, (one company is slipping my mind, Dynaspark is all that pops up)?

I wanna say a new Delco? I'll have to check. I bought it from summit before the MSD was released.

You would think they would have done this before if thats the case? Any way to tell just by popping off a valve cover and looking at them?
I wonder if it would help to close the gap a little on the plugs? Maybe the spark is blowing out?

What plugs are you running i would contact someone that knows if those springs are strong enough. and what is the gap on the plugs.

Your at 14psi with no intercooler? Just curious to what your IAT's are with meth spraying?

Plugs are tr6's gapped at .032. I might try dropping them to .028 and trying it again.

Is a tr6 to hot of a heat range for the power your making? maybe a TR7-TR8 would be better? Just throwing out idea's.

I would suggest a NGK TR8 at this level. The springs should also be checked to make sure they are sufficient for the cam.

looks like it has a lot of potential as you sit now with this issues

Opti you noted 10,000 miles, but how old is it?

I thought NGKs were cooler as the numbers went up. I'm just going off of "You should run a colder plug like a TR6 if you plan to spray", as opposed to running TR55s normally. *shrug*

He needs a colder plug is what LS1 SPEED is saying, Tr8 is colder than Tr6's.

You need to call Ed Wright and send him the graph.
