dude i think you should stay with the lt1 car bro..cuz when you beat an ls car you have braggin rights on them...those lsx owners get cocky sometimes and you need to put them in their place...dont turn into one of them man..hahahaha...stay here wiith us...but doesnt sound like a bad deal if i EVER wanted an lsx car..it would be a good car for ya if they came off the price a tad bit..btw if you sell your 94 how much you gonna want for it?? pm me on that i know mods dont like F/S stuff in here

I had an Lt1 then an ls1. Then I had my choice of what ever I wanted. I ended up with an lt1 again. They are more fun to drive sound better and with the right mods are easily capable of making an LS1 look slow.
Also with 90k I think you could get them down on the $$$$$$$

+1 sounds a little on the high side for the price.

I don't think a 98 SS hood can fit an LT1 car.

Needs the front bumper. Or if it's anything like the Firebird, needs fenders, core support, bumper.

yeah man way too high of a price. I just came across a red 99 ta here in az with 89k miles and it was gorgeous inside and out. Full exhaust lowered and big brakes. for 8999.00 get them to lower the price or keep on lookin. There are way better deals around.

I agree, you should be able to find a nice ls1 in the 10k range.

With Camaros and G8 GXPs around the corner, prices should plummet. Unless that thing has lots of bolt ons and a cam, that's way too high for 90K miles.

thanks guys you are all making me want to keep my LT1 now i have had a lot of fun in it, but i really want a 6 speed and mines an auto. I have had my *** handed to me plenty of times. my best friend has a 2001 Camaro SS and it is pretty much the same one i want to get. i raced him on the freeway and he killed me and he only has an GMMG exhaust. he ran 12.9 in a 1/4 mile stock. I have been looking around here in California its crazy all the SS are going for 12,000 or higher. I am going to talk them down since it is a dealership and if not then i will just walk away because i am pre approved and you know how they are when they know you got the money to buy! the Blue Book says its worth 12,999, but i want to get him to go as low as possible.

I know what you mean, my friend has an 01 ss aswell and it took me full bolt ons and 4:10s to run with him. Now he get a cam so I have to get a heads/cam package.

you all need to take it into consideration that this is a SS he is looking at not your run of the mill LS1...for one it is a collectable so it is going to be more and for two it has more power stock than a normal LS1 would have....granted it is a little high needs to be around 12500 to 13000....i would pay it for the car and so would alot of other ppl...i wouldnt give him even 9500 if it was just a z28...but man you will see a big difference with this ride even know you should do 6 spd swap into your car....they arent soo bad...start modding the hell out of your car..and about your buddy hes got about 50-60 hp on you still...just start doing boltons and do a head/cam package..you will like it
