How do you femove the stock lt1 exhaust manifold?

unbolt them..........you're going to have to elaborate before anyone can help you much further unless they're going to go through typing the entire header install process..

k we have unbolted them and we need to get them out from of their original spot.what do i need to do to get the headers out under or over?

more details - are you just removing the manifolds, or the y-pipe too? Are you installing shorties or longtubes?

Everything is comming out the whole exhaust and manifold im installing long tubes.

make sure before you pull the old manifolds out, that you already have your spark plugs and coolant emp sensor out of the heads. You just have to be careful pulling them out, but Id say take the y-pipe off first then just work your way up. What headers do you have?

Remove y-pipe, remove emissions, remove stock manifolds, pull out through the top. Not a whole lot to it.

Yeah, just unbolt the y, o2 sensors and such, make sure everything is disconnected that's running to them and just wiggle its way out.

Sry to high jack this but Im going on mac mids and I having trouble undoing the air tubes on the manifolds.Any suggestions?

The AIR tubes just need a dual wrench method and they'll come off.
