code P1371 I have a 97 model LT 1 in a chevelle. I have code p1371. I have changed the opti, crank sensor, coil, plugs, wires among other things. Any suggestions. The car will only start for about 20 to 30 seconds and die. PLease help.
so i had the exact same code thrown on my car just last week, my opti is pretty new (5k miles) and my wires are brand new and my plugs were changed as well, and it was still running real rough and not idling very smooth at all, so i was extremely frustrated trying to figure this out, long story short is, i replaced the harness to the opti(20 bucks shipped to my door in 2 days) and that little connector fixed the whole damn problem!
