I thought Jet Hot used real Hookers?
In fact, I think they (re)sell 6 or 7 different brands if headers.

These are marketed as Jet-Hot headers, not Hooker headers with Jet-Hot coating.

(Which are also available under the Hooker name.)

Damn George gets no respect here!

George I run your headers, they are a great product.

The Only thing I don't like about them is how the left side header exits, but hey, I can live with it

Kooks makes great products!!

My Kooks fit like a glove.

Based on my limited knowledge of the product, I would certainly buy LPP's over Pacesetter, or any other mild steel header.

BBK midlength LT1 headers are an exact replica of Edelbrock TES midlengths.

And no offense to GeorgeR@Kooks, but if companies as large as Holley, Edelbrock and BBK don't even have patents on their own header designs, this should tell him something.
Of course it's not but when a large company and a large company are picking each other's pockets they usually don't waste the time on it if they can't win, not worth the cost. Regardless of whether a case has merit or not being tied up with a legal fight could easily bankrupt someone like Carl who makes the LPP headers and has a much smaller budget.

They both make great products. I think this just shows us that one of those companies are way over priced. Kooks does sell a y-pipe with cats and Emissions style headers wich LPP doesnt.

I wonder if the KOOKS catted y-pipe, would fit right up to the LPP headers?
Might cost about the same as buying high flow cats and having them welded into the LPP ORY????

And another modified install comes out of the woodwork. The percentage of people that have had to modify the LPP to get them to fit is far higher than the percentage of any other company. I don't want to spend all of the extra time trying to get thing to fit when I can drop in a header and be on my merry way.

So there were issues that could be easily resolved and they do fit is what your saying?
Was it worth it in the end is my question or if you had to do it all over again would you spend the extra 6-700 for Kooks?
Im glad you mentioned they ARE Stepped headers wich are alot bigger than reg 1 3/4 and they have to fit super tight. So one tiny problem with the car or the headers will cause more issues than the avg header.

I still havent seen anyone say that they did not get these to fit at all. Some just need minor tweaking correct?
